Utah’s Own Down Home Cook Off

Those of you in Utah may have heard about the Utah’s Own Cookoff…I know I did and because of all the rave reviews you gave the Surprise Twinkie Cupcake I decided to submit it. AND GUESS WHAT?!! I’ve been chosen as one of six contestants! I’ll be on TV and in the kitchen with Chef Bryan on Monday (August 11) from 12-1 p.m. on channel 2 baking my cupcakes. YEAH!!! I’m so excited. The person with the most page views of their recipe becomes a finalist, so tell all your friends to look at my recipe by going to the kutv website food section (http://www.kutv.com/content/lifestyle/recipes/default.aspx) and clicking on the Utah’s Down Home Cookoff: Twinkie Surprise Cupcakes recipe (for those of you out of Utah you will also be able to see a short clip of me on the show). It should be towards the top. The recipe will only be online for a week (starting monday) so make sure to check it out! Thanks so much for leaving comments about the recipes you enjoy!
