Was the one TB yeast a substitute for the yogurt or only for the active cultures? I replaced the yogurt with yeast. It's thick like dough. I don't see how I'll be able to make waffles with it. Help!!

I am making up the starter right now using yeast. It's the consistency of pizza dough. Does it need more liquid?

We usually spend the sunday sessions with family. My kids look to watching confrerence with their cousins. I make Pear Blintzs For the Sunday Morning session. This is a tradition that nobody will let me break. They are so yummy!
