I left out the carrots and the vinegar and added a can of tomato sauce and a can of tomato paste.  It was a hit and plenty for my family of 10.  I served it with cornbread.  Thanks for a great recipe to use food storage and that was quick and easy on a busy Monday.&lt;br/&gt;Laura</description>
