I purchased 2 boxes of apples from the cannery in Lindon a couple years ago. I have found they have a very chemical smell and after taste. I called and they said to let them air out for a bit when I open the can. This gets rid of the smell but not the aftertaste. I have been very disappointed since they were 50 bucks a box. I have heard others talk about loving them and so think its a fluke. But what an expensive fluke, and no refund. I'm afraid to try again

Stephanie,
I don't dry my own apples. I purchase them at the LDS cannery. They are cheap and the BEST I've ever eaten! Not to mention a good brand name (Tree Top). Give them a try, you'll love them!

That's a really cool idea! Do you dry your own apples, or do you purchase them somewhere?
