Thanks so much for your book. I loved the information that helped me understand that using my food storage is cost effective. Generally, people think it is more expensive since you are paying for the cans too. But when you do the conversions, as you have, you can see the economy of it. I particularly like the idea of substituting beans (which I don't really care for but I store) for oil or butter (which I cannot store enough of without spoilage) in baked good recipes. I would love to see some recipes that use honey and would like to know if you have used tomato powder?

I did finally locate a copy at a small LDS bookstore in Cardston, Alberta. Of course I am paying a LOT more than I would have…but that’s just how it goes up here.

Joyce, You have all the worst luck by being in Canada. All you want is to have all this great food storage stuff and they never will send it to you in Canada! I just have to laugh because it’s the same problem every time. I feel your pain as a fellow Canadian transplant Good luck in getting Crystal’s book sent to you. I can’t wait to get my copy!
