I just found your website at the beginning of the week...I have been hooked for the last three days. Thank you for all the work you have put into it. I did have a question though...have you ever frozen the EZ Wheat Bread? If so, was it the bread itself or the dough? Also, how long does the Magic Mix last since it has butter in it? Do you have to store it in the fridge? How often do you make bread...do you ever buy store bought? I hope you haven't already answered all these questions...I tried to look through your blog thoroughly before asking. Thanks again!

I've been using bulgur to extend my ground beef for the past year and a half and it works great. I boil a large pot of wheat for an hour, spread it out on cookie sheets and toast it (on low) in my oven till dry then i use my grinder to crack it. When I want some I take 1/4 to 1.2 c per lbs of beef, put in enough water to just cover it and cook on med heat till most of the water is gone. I mix it in with my raw beef and cook as normal. Works very well in meatloaf and sloppy joes.

Could you give instructions on how you extend your ground beef with the cracked wheat? I have added it into taco meat with a bit of water but I'm not sure about the ratios or the time it takes to cook it in thoroughly. Thanks so much!
