Does your machine have a "dough" function? If you're wanting to mix the dough without making bread, that is what you would use.

Hi Crystal, I just found your blog yesterday. I can't even remember how right now, but I already tried this recipe! We loved it. I had all the things I needed to make it so we had them for lunch and dinner! They were very filling and delicious. I'm gleaning lots of ideas from your site. You are a very good homemaker for such a young woman.

Do these need to be unthawed before you reheat them, or do they come out good if you just put them directly in the microwave from the freezer?

I have made these before and adore them. I find that if you brush them with a little cold milk before baking they provide a lovely crispy brown pastry. Using milk instead of egg white means you have no waste after.

Crystal you mentioned not knowing what to do with the egg white when youre done - if I do use egg white I usually pop it into a container and put it in the fridge - it can last for up to a week. I usually use it in something else though- pecan meringue cookies are awesome - 1/3 cup pecans / 1 egg white / 1/3 cup sugar / 1/4 tsp vinegar - mix egg white and sugar until glossy and vinegar and whisk more until forms peaks, crush the pecans mix in. pop on a tray and place in your oven which you should have preheated to about 300f but then turn it off. This is perfect for when you have baked your pizza pockets - when they come out, turn the oven off and put the meringues inside! Leave them in there overnight and by morning they will be done! Saves energy too! :) Love your site, thanks for the inspiration

This is amazing. I am so, so, so excited to try them! Thank you so much for the video... seeing you do it makes it really seem do-able!!!

When you freeze them, do you just stick them straight in the freezer or do you cook them and then freeze them and then re-heat them?

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these! My husband, who has never showed much interest in what I make actually requests these! I love that I can get my 3year old involved and she's excited about eating them because she helped. Thanks for this site it has completely changed the way I cook! Can't wait to get your book!
