Me on TV and a NEW Food Storage Recipe!

This is a GREAT twist on an old favorite. Thank you to Cheryl who gave me a similar recipe and I was able to adapt it to the blender wheat pancakes. SO FUN!

To view the recipe, click HERE. And while you’re there, tell Studio 5 you want to see MORE! ;)

(If you missed seeing Jodi & Julie from www.foodstoragemadeeasy.net on Monday, click HERE to watch them and if you missed Andrea from www.thefoodstorageshopper.net, on yesterday, click HERE.)  It was a lot of fun to have our Fun with Food Storage Network showcased and we all hope you enjoyed it as well!

Watched the segment and think that if people don't want to try Gingerbread pancakes they are nuts. Great job!

Great segment! Congrats!!! Funny…I just made gingerbread pancakes with buttermilk syrup last night and posted a recipe on my family blog. I had leftover syrup so I had to make gingerbread today, darn it! LOL Anyway, congrats to you (and the whole food storage network) for your TV segments!

Great job Crystal! I live in Central NY, but I'm going to create an account at KSL5 just so I can post a comment begging them to have you on again! I can't wait to try the pancakes in the morning. I wish the East Coast “daytime magazine” shows were as good as Studio 5. I'll be checking their website daily. Way to go!

Great job, Crystal! Thanks for your inspiration!

You did such a nice job!! Congrats…
by the way – what is MorningMoo for again….its not milk right? Why would you drink it instead?

  7. Crystal-Everyday Food Storage says:

There is a little bit of confusion on that tape. I DO NOT buy nor drink nor use the morning moo milk alternative. That short clip they showed was actually from when they filmed Andrea at Walmart. I only use Non-Instant powdered milk from the LDS cannery.

What a great job. I have asked for a blender for my birthday this year.
I plan on using a lot of your ideas with it. LOL

    Thanks for all you do…

These look yum-o-la! I think I'll try to actually make breakfast for my hubby tomorrow! One question though…in the video as you're dumping in ingredients, you say nutmeg but you don't say ginger, whereas the recipe says ginger and doesn't say nutmeg. Is the recipe right or the video? I would think the recipe is right since they are gingerbread pancakes and that you were just a little nervous on the video and slipped up, but just want to be sure….I guess I could just get off my butt and go look in my cookbook but now that I've typed all of this, I figure maybe someone else might catch that too so I'll just finish typing now. :)
