OK, my family has been drinking it for a week. No complaints from 6 and 3 year olds. My husband said it "tasted kind of like water" and I said, "It's non-fat!" and he said, "Oh, that's why. Well then, it's fine." LOL. And I have been sucking it down with a straw because I am pregnant w/#3 right now and totally craving milk. It's great! It tastes a little like canned evaporated milk, but without the can. Which means, it tastes like milk.

I got to can 6 cans, even though I only purchased one. The process was very simple, just as previously reported. :) I am going back tomorrow for the 25# bag for the household. Our "cheap" fluid milk prices have just gone up another $0.10 per gallon in the last week. :(

Ansley, SUPER! Thanks, you're awesome!!!

PS - does your family drink this or just cook w/it and keep it in storage? I remember drinking some at my friend's a long time ago and although he and his family hated it, I thought it was fine. I have also heard LDS cannery milk is some of the "worse tasting" out there (LOL!) but it is very economical. Also I have read you can add a bit of vanilla and/or sugar to the mixed batch and it improves the overall flavor of reconst milk by a lot.
