New Summer Series!

back to basics header

Back to Basics Series Starts Wednesday, June 5th

Don’t you hate trying to get into a new tv show in the middle of the seasons? You can feel completely lost…or at least like you’ve missed out! I feel sort of the same way about blogs since each week brings new posts and it can be hard to find and sort the old information. Well to alleviate any of that and to go over some good basics again, all summer long I’ll be starting over with the best of the best ways to learn how to start cooking with your food storage!

What you NEED to know:

  • There will be a video with EVERY post.  (Honestly, I think this is the best part!)
  • Posts will go in order from what you need to know to get started cooking with your food storage to more advanced concepts.
  • Delicious recipes to try for each new concept you learn.
  • …and FUN-It will be a fool proof way to get you and your family excited about cooking from scratch and food storage!

So if you or anyone you know feels like they just don’t know where to begin when it comes to cooking with food storage, make sure you share this post with them and don’t miss a single post this summer!

I’m glad you’re going to do this. For a while there I thought you had forgotten about all us people who would love to have a super blender, an awesome wheat grinder, and an amazing pressure cooker but don’t so when we watch those posts we feel like, “eh, good info but not really applicable right now.”

I do have the wheat grinder and LOVE it! Even though I don't, as of yet, have a pressure cooker or the super blender I get inspired to get them both.

Just had to say I have had your book for quite some time and have made a lot of the recipies and they have all been great. I just tried the blender wheat pancakes for the first time last weekend. I don't know what took me so long. They are wonderful. My husband who is not a pancake kind of guy loved them too. He didn't even put syrup or anything on them. I put a little bit of powdered sugar. Very tasty! Thanks and can't wait to watch the new videos.

Thanks for doing an Emergency cooking 101. I'm embarrassed to admit, but my husband does all the cooking and grilling. He farms and I work nights. I just got my Junior Deluxe grinder, my Excalibur dehydrator and more food supplies stocked. I actually started using most of the items I had. Example: sour cream, powdered butter, TVP, seasonings, powdered milk. I can't imagine not
using it on a daily basis. I can also see how it will save lots of money too! I made my first dish with everything from food storage and it was quite good. Thanks again for all the hard work and many hours of research.
