hey Crystal, I just post a new post to my blog and included some links to your website. I am using your bread recipe for over a month now. I tweaked it a bit since I don't use the dry storage items. Thank you so much for your tutorials. the bread is a hit with every one here at home. We even have peanut butter sandwiches with it. :)

I saw a little thing on the side of the web page about a free class "Using Wheat Without a Wheat grinder" on 7/31 in Utah. I don't live in Utah but I am the Provident Living Specialist in my ward, I am in charge of teaching and preaching and exhorting people on food storage and emergency preparedness. Are you going to make the same information available here on your website? I have been searching for ways that people can use their wheat without a wheat grinder.

Crystal -
I enjoyed meeting you at the La Jolla Deseret Book store. I bought your book and went home and made your EZ Wheat bread. It was wonderful!! My husband likes it better than my recipe. The only thing is -- it makes only one loaf. Is it possible to quadruple the recipe? I told you that my son eats a whole loaf of bread daily. I don't have the time to make bread each and every day. Would it be possible to just put in the bosch 4 times of each ingredient. I am leary of all that yeast.
Thanks for your hard work and sharing with everyone.

Stacy,

I'm not sure what the conversion is for honey powder to sugar. If it doesn't say on the can I would write them and ask them how they suggest doing it.

I am hooked! I'll admit, I was very skeptical. I tried the beans in the brownies first. They got rave reviews from the kids. I tried the Mrs. Field's type cookie recipe, whole wheat and all, subbing half black bean puree for butter (I figured it would look like chocolate shavings.) My son repeated over and over "Mom, these are so awesome, these are the best cookies ever!" Even my nephew, who is 13 and picky, devoured the cookies and brownies. This is the same nephew who wouldn't touch the beans in the taco soup at dinner! I tried subbing half white bean puree for oil in the pancakes and waffles, along with half whole wheat flour, with some flax thrown in. Devoured! Everyone loved them. I used half white bean puree, and half whole wheat flour in the zucchini muffins, Devoured!

I use powdered milk and powdered eggs in all my baking now.

I am no longer a skeptic, but a true convert!

Thank you for making food storage easy and delicious!
